Job description

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who has a wealth of experience and a passion to now take the lead of a new and thriving business and its administration. You will be forming your own department, recruiting support but more so you will empower the team to do what matters: disrupt the construction sector. We need a real people’s person with a strong work ethic and the passion to make a difference.

Why stop there? We want someone to become a partner in the business. 

 

What we are looking for

Our candidate will be the Founder’s right hand and will contribute to significant growth within the business. Work will be fun, yet organised. This role is 90% EA, splashed with 10% PA duties. We believe in providing opportunities for rapid development. With admin support, the role can lead into a senior position as part of the management team.

We love self-starters. The right person will be able to work well in an evolving environment, with a creative approach to their work. You will be expected to dabble in the art of innovative ideas and drive them forward.

You will need strong business acumen and the ability to understand Maple People’s road map and proactively engage and contribute. This will ensure career progression towards a shareholding or a partner’s position.

 

Requirements

  • Strong background in business growth with demonstrable evidence
  • Personality – bags of it – and as such, great interpersonal/networking/relationship-building skills
  • A creative approach to thinking
  • An inner drive to make positive change
  • Interest in sustainable construction with knowledge of practices
  • Passionate about construction and understanding its impact on people and planet
  • Demonstrable passion for great customer service
  • Superb communication skills and organisation skills
  • Be a People’s person – People is 50% of Maple people
